Is it possible to meet with Foundation staff before submitting a proposal?

As previously indicated, the Foundation is unstaffed. We will try to respond to questions in writing.

Will the Foundation support multi-year requests?

We have made multi-year grants when appropriate, usually with a smaller amount in the second year.

Will the Foundation make grants to the same organization for more than one year?

The Foundation will make grants to the same organization for no more than two consecutive years or twice in a three-year period.  In the case of consecutive grants over two years, the applicant may make a funding request in the third year following the last grant; in the case of two grants in a three-year period, a request may be made in the second year after the last grant.  In special circumstances, the Trustees may make an exception to this policy for a completely new project of a previously funded organization.

Will the Foundation consider capital or endowment grants?

The Foundation will consider grants for "bricks and mortar" capital campaigns but it is highly unlikely to contribute to an endowment fund.
